Welcome to The Little Free Rainbow Library on 31st Street
Sammy, a Boy Scout with Troop 604, designed and constructed this “lending library” (with help from parents Tom and Angela) to earn his Family Life merit badge.
Feel free to stop by anytime and take a book, read a book, or leave a book. Make sure to sign the guestbook too while you’re there.

This is how we made our little free library. This was a super fun project! We got 8 different paint colors and some brushes from Lowe’s. First we made straight lines with a pencil and a ruler. Then painted each side. We used white for the inside.
When it was done we attached it to a wooden pole and cemented it in our front yard.
